Teaching Method and Material

The educational design follows a methodology that supports Open and Distance e-learning. Teaching through an asynchronous distance learning system is primarily based on the asynchronous study of educational material and activity development, largely ensuring the autonomy of the learner.

Each part includes:

• asynchronous online teaching via an e-learning platform, allowing the trainee to choose their personal study schedule to review the educational material,
• Assessment activities.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Training accompanied by a Transcript of Records.

The KEK10 K.D.B.M., a KDBM certified by the National Organization for Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports (certification code: 2100427), implements seminars for experienced vehicle technicians for the acquisition of the Brake System Technician license.

Training Certification Certificates are issued as prescribed by law for the acquisition of a professional license (based on the curriculum defined by decision no. 73102/715/1988 (B 302) of the Minister of Transport and Communications).

Furthermore, it is addressed to technical personnel who require systematic review and updating of knowledge regarding the operating principles, inspection and diagnostic procedures, and safety regulations governing vehicle braking systems.

Expected Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, trainees are expected to have acquired and be able to apply basic knowledge regarding the operation of vehicle braking systems and their individual components. Specifically, they will be able to identify basic components, their functions, as well as potential wear and malfunctions, perform basic checks, and detect indications of problems in the braking system.

At the same time, they will have become familiar with basic inspection and diagnostic procedures, as well as the required practices and safety rules during maintenance and repair work. Furthermore, they will be able to fundamentally assess the condition of braking systems, recognize cases requiring further technical inspection, and apply the knowledge gained within their professional activity, enhancing their technical competence and updating their knowledge according to modern industry requirements.

The training is based on connecting theory and technical application. Explanatory texts, functional diagrams, technical examples, comparative checks, diagnostic scenarios, and case studies are used. The educational logic emphasizes understanding operation and documented diagnosis rather than memorizing lists of malfunctions.

Where specific values, wear limits, pressures, tightening torques, electrical values, or special procedures are required, the technical data and instructions of the manufacturer of the specific vehicle or component are used.

Expected Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will have acquired the necessary knowledge and practical skills to understand the operation of gasoline engines and carburetors, recognizing the basic components and functional circuits of the carburetor. They will be able to understand the requirements of the fuel-air mixture under different engine operating conditions, perform basic checks and tasks of disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and adjustment of the carburetor, as well as identify potential causes of malfunctions based on the symptoms presented by the engine.

At the same time, they will be able to apply safe practices when handling gasoline, flammable vapors, and fuel system components, contributing to the correct and safe maintenance and operation of the equipment.

Teaching Method and Material

The educational approach combines theoretical presentation, technical diagrams and schematics, examples of real components, case studies, diagnostic scenarios, fault-cause matching exercises, and self-assessment questions. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the functional sequence rather than memorizing individual components. Where numerical adjustment values are used, these must come from the technical data of the specific manufacturer.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate of successful attendance/training of 100 hours in the specialty "Carburetor Technician" is issued, in accordance with the applicable institutional framework and the procedures of the training provider.
