Based on current legislation [Article 34 of Law 4554/2018, as amended and in force by paragraph 2, of Article 98, of Law 5239/2025 (A’ 178)]:

Those participating in NON-SUBSIDIZED initial or continuing vocational training programs implemented by IEK, SAEK, KEK/KEDIVIM can register or remain registered in the Digital Register of Job Seekers.

Those participating or who will participate in SUBSIDIZED continuing vocational training programs can register or remain registered in the Digital Register of Job Seekers PROVIDED THAT the total number of hours they have attended during the last one (1) calendar year before the publication of the relevant call DOES NOT exceed:

  • the limit of 600 hours for unemployed training programs (For training programs aimed at socially vulnerable groups of the population, training hours are determined in the respective calls)
  • the limit of 300 hours for training programs for employed wage earners and self-employed individuals
  • the limit of 250 hours for General Adult Education (G.A.E.) programs

Those who do not meet the aforementioned condition are deleted from the digital register for the duration of the program and have the right to re-register upon completion of the program.

Registered unemployed individuals, subsidized or not, during their participation in a vocational training or education program, continue to have the same rights and obligations as other registered unemployed individuals in the DYPA Digital Register.
