Training of Security Personnel (Security)

KEK10-Pallini KDVM organizes seminars for people interested in working as a private security personnel (security).

The curriculum is tailored to the needs of the security services professional and in accordance with the professional outline of the specialty entitled “Private Security Personnel”, as approved and published by the Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.), fully meets the modern requirements of the labor market in the professional field of security. Uponc ompletion of the program, trainees can take part in the Certification exams conducted by KEMEA to obtain the Professional Practice License.

The training of Private Security Personnel is mainly carried out remotely, through online presentations, special notes and work simulations

A basic training of 105 hours is required for all security personnel.

After the end of the training the trainees will be able to:

  • Participate in the prevention and control of criminal activities, protecting the life and property of citizens.
  • Inspect, patrol, and verify incidents.
  • Intervene in cases of crises, natural disasters, accidents, etc.
  • Intervene to take preventive measures and inform citizens.
  • Be familiar with the basic concepts of civil and criminal law regarding obligations and rights.

For professionals of the sector there is an accelerated 28-hour KEMEA certification programme which includes:

  • Classroom training taking place in all our branches or remotely via e-learning.
  • Training using asynchronous e-learning on our platform, so that trainees can have access using passwords to the total training provided for the 105 hours of the programme.
  • A high number of automated multiple-choice tests
  • Rich e-learning material with a total of 300 questions - answers.

The proposed training aims to qualify Sergeants / Supervisors (front line managers) to:

Α. At a cognitive level, acquire the necessary knowledge and be able to control:

  • By inspecting, checking, and supervising all guarded locations 24 hours a day
  • The condition of the personnel on duty, in terms of their appearance, performance, behaviour and general psychophysical disposition and ability
  • The proper performance of the duties of the Security Staff
  • The effectiveness of the customer security measures in place and their full and correct implementation.
  • The suitability and adequacy of the technical means used.
  • The appropriate and legal existence and use of their personal equipment
  • The correct use of the service books.

Β. In terms of competence, to enable them to:

  • Give the necessary directions-instructions to staff.
  • Manage staff as a team, which will recognise them as its leaders.
  • To give the correct and legitimate solutions to incidents that have 'escaped' the attention of the security personnel.
  • Be fluent in communication, on a multi-level basis.
  • Meet the expectations of the security staff who summon them in case of emergency.

C. In terms of attitude and behaviour, to be able to :

  • Raise awareness among staff regarding the subject of their professional activity
  • Motivate staff to be more professional when it comes to their appearance - performance - behaviour
  • Encourage the correct use of the available technological equipment and Service Books
  • Encourage communication with the competent bodies where appropriate.
  • Understand the need for prompt action.
  • Explain the position and responsibility of the IEPYA towards the customer

The above 12-hour modules are for certified (by the EOPPEP and KEMEA) professionals in the field:

The 12-hour seminar (2 days) can be held at our premises or at your company's premises, in a suitably equipped room. It can also be implemented remotely via an e-class.

(Everyone at their own place with their own PC).
