Staff training

General Information

A total of 150,000 workers in all sectors of the economy will have the opportunity to upgrade their skills through the new “Go Forward” programme of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The programme is implemented by the Public Employment Service (PES) and funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

The action concerns the provision of 80 hours of theoretical training to private sector employees, leading to the acquisition of “green” knowledge and skills and corresponding certification through independent certification bodies.

Who it is aimed at

Employees who meet at least the following requirements are eligible to participate:

  • Be employees of private sector employees
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Be graduates of at least compulsory education

Objectives

  • Upgrading knowledge and skills
  • Improving efficiency
  • Productivity increase

Time Duration

The duration of the training programmes is 80 hours (mainly through e-learning), with a training allowance of €400 (€5 per hour of training).
