The University of Nicosia offers various programmes of study –undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral – in both Greek and English.
All undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes of the University of Nicosia are accredited by the Republic of Cyprus and recognised in the European Union and the rest of the world.
Specifically, the University of Nicosia’s programmes of study are assessed and accredited by the Quality Assurance and Certification Body for Higher Education (AQAA), which is registered in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).This confirms the prestige and level of the University’s degrees both within the country and abroad, and demonstrates the quality and standards maintained by the University.
The University of Nicosia is a member of the European Universities Association (EUA), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Network of Universities of Small Countries and Territories (NUSCT) and is one of the few universities in the European Union that has received both the Diploma Supplement Label and the ECTS Label.
In Greece, the University of Nicosia is recognized by the I.O.A.T.A.P. as a university of the same status as the Greek universities and its graduates’ degrees have been recognized by the I.O.A.T.A.P.
