“Training of Adult Educators”, for Direct Participation in the EOPPEP Educational Competence Examinations
KEK10 K.D.B.M., certified by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports (certification code: 2100427), in cooperation with the Chamber of Arcadia, implements the seminar “Training of Adult Educators”, for FREE participation in the EOPPEP’s Educational Aptitude Examinations.
It aims to prepare adult educator candidates for the EOPPEP (National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance) educational competency examinations.
Who it is addressed to
The programme is addressed to all interested parties who wish to participate in the EOPPEP examinations for the competence of adult educators, but do not have the required educational experience (150 hours) in adults (based on article 67 of Law 4386/2016).
Graduates of the programme are directly led to the EOPPEP Educational Competence Certification Examination process, where, according to article 47 of Law 4386/2016, beneficiaries are those who have successfully completed training programmes for trainers of institutions belonging to the public and wider public sector, of at least 100 hours duration.
Objective
The aim of the programme is to prepare adult educator candidates for the EOPPEP (National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance) certification examinations.
Duration
The programme is 150 hours, lasting 2 months.
Implementation method
The programme consists of a total of ten (10) modules.
- Unit 1: Historical development – Education policy.
- Module 2: Principles of Adult Education.
- Module 3: Team – Groups Objectives.
- Module 4: Team dynamics.
- Module 5: Key competences – Gender – Interculturalism.
- Module 6: Planning Methodology – Socio-Economic-Cultural Context.
- Module 7: Educational Methods – Techniques – Training.
- Section 8: Educational material – Supervisory media – Space.
- Module 9: Self-evaluation – Continuous Development.
- Module 10: Microteaching
Each training module includes:
- Asynchronous online teaching via a tele-education platform, so that the trainee can choose his/her own personal educational time frame to study the educational material,
- Additional Training Materials,
- Evaluation activities.
- Throughout the training there are 5 hours of synchronous teaching with instructions from the instructor on how to study and micro-teaching.
Certificate of Attendance
Upon completion of the program and if there is no financial obligation, the trainee receives a certificate of attendance in hard copy, within 1 month of the completion of the studies, from the Chamber of Arcadia.
In addition, support is provided for the submission of the supporting documents to the EOPPEP for the referral to the educational competency certification examinations as well as for the registration in the register of the LCEK instructors.
