KEK10 K.D.B.M., certified by the National Organization for Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports (certification code: 2100427), implements the seminar “Geotechnical Education” for Young Farmers.
It aims to provide theoretical training for people who wish to apply for the Young Farmers Programme and who hold a high school diploma.
Who it is addressed to
The announcement of the Call for applications for the submission of support applications for inclusion in the intervention P3-75.1 “Establishment of Young Farmers” of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP SA) of Greece 2023 - 2027.
The provision of flat-rate financial support is provided for young people who have not yet reached the age of 41 for entering and remaining in agricultural employment and for their first establishment as head of agricultural holdings.
One of the conditions for applying is that the applicant must have at least level 4 knowledge, i.e. be a graduate of a vocational school or a high school, or have a level 2 knowledge, i.e. a high school diploma and at the same time a geotechnical education of at least 150 hours, which is not part of a certificate or diploma (non-formal education - certificate from the competent authority).
In order to remove the obstacles created by the requirement for potential Young Farmers to hold a high school diploma, the Certified KEK10-K.D.B.M. (Certification code 2100427), has designed a training program entitled “AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION”, lasting 150 hours. The training meets the requirements and the relevant certificate is provided so that the application for inclusion in the programme can be submitted together with the high school diploma. The courses will start from 1/3/2024 throughout GREECE, in order for those interested to receive the relevant certificate as soon as possible and include it in their file.
Objective
The programme of a total duration of 150 hours aims to provide theoretical training for people who want to join the “Young Farmers” programme and have only a high school diploma.
Duration

The training is provided remotely, with trained Adult Trainers, through modern tele-training.
Teaching modules

- Use of new technologies
- Good Agricultural Practice
- Safety of work in the countryside
- Climate change and adaptation to new conditions
- Management of agricultural and livestock waste
- Post-harvest handling of agricultural and livestock products.
- Processing of agricultural products
- Marketing of agricultural products
- Cultivation techniques for soil preparation, cultivation and shaping
- Agricultural tools and machinery
- Oilseeds/citrus
- Greenhouse constructions - hydroponics - aeroponics
- Specialised knowledge of the direction and needs of the farm.
Certificate of Attendance
Upon completion of the programme and provided that there is no financial obligation, the trainee immediately receives a certificate of successful completion of the programme in paper form.
