The program is aimed at those who wish to work in the rapidly growing sector of Private Security, a field with stable demand and multiple professional opportunities.
Where can you work as a Security graduate?
After certification, you can be employed in:
- Private security companies (security companies)
- Shopping malls, stores, and retail chains
- Hospitals, educational institutions, and public organizations
- Banks, cash-in-transit, and valuable transport companies
- Industrial facilities and warehouses
- Tourist facilities and events
- Public transportation
- Homes
TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
The theoretical training (105 hours) is conducted remotely (teletraining with an instructor) in the specialty Private Security Personnel Level 1 (Post-secondary).
Upon completion, certification from EOPPEP and KEMEA is provided, necessary for obtaining a professional license from the Hellenic Police.
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
Eligible to participate are unemployed individuals who:
- Are registered with D.YPA.
- Are aged 18 to 50 years (born 1975–2007)
- Are Greek citizens, or Greek expatriates, or citizens of an EU country.
- Have knowledge of the Greek language at level B2 (for EU citizens)
- Are graduates of at least compulsory education (Gymnasium)
Note: In the case where the diploma or another equivalent or higher degree was obtained abroad, official translation and recognition are required.
Additionally, for the issuance of a work permit, it is required to meet the criteria of the Hellenic Police.See the conditions here.
