KEK10 K.D.B.M., <\/strong>certified by the National Organization for Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports (certification code: 2100427), implements the seminar \u201cFirst Aid to infants, children and adults\u201d, which leads to a training certificate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Its purpose is to familiarize students with the basic knowledge of first aid in emergency situations for the health and life of people.<\/p>

Who it is addressed to<\/strong><\/p>

For private stakeholders, health professionals, coaches, safety officers, private school workers, service and industry workers and anyone interested in acquiring first aid skills.<\/p>

Duration<\/strong><\/p>

The programme has a total duration of 120 hours, is implemented over a period of 1.5 months and corresponds to 6 ECVET credits.<\/p>

Expected Results<\/p>

After the end of the training, the trainee will be able to:<\/p>

  • safely uses breathing support and circulatory resuscitation techniques.<\/li>
  • provides help and support to the patient-patient safely.<\/li>
  • use airway clearance techniques in adults and understand the differences between them and those used in children and infants.<\/li>
  • understand and avoid the dangers that can lead to drowning.<\/li>
  • identify and deal with events that pose an immediate risk to the patient’s life after a stroke.<\/li>
  • recognise the damage and injuries of heat burn and treat them.<\/li>
  • lists the body temperature measurement points and the normal values at each point.<\/li>
  • applies the cleaning of a wound safely.<\/li>
  • recognise bone and joint injuries and provide first aid<\/li>
  • applies the correct techniques for cleaning and treating snake wounds.<\/li>
  • gives first aid to people exposed to inhaled toxic substances.<\/li>
  • provides first aid for carbon monoxide poisoning.<\/li>
  • controls the bleeding caused by a foreign body on the skin.<\/li><\/ul>

    Implementation method<\/strong><\/p>

    The educational design follows the methodology that supports Open and Distance e-learning. Teaching through an asynchronous tele-education system is mainly based on the asynchronous study of the educational material and development of activities, in order to ensure to a large extent the autonomy of the Learner. <\/p>

    Each part includes:<\/p>

    • asynchronous online teaching via a tele-education platform, so that the trainee can choose his\/her own personal educational time frame to study the educational material,<\/li>
    • additional Training Material,<\/li>
    • Evaluation activities.<\/li><\/ul>

      Certificate of Attendance<\/strong><\/p>

      Upon completion of the program and if there is no financial obligation, the trainee takes part in certification exams by the certified training body GLOBAL CERT S.A.<\/p>

      The duration of the certificate is 10 years.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
